Rocking the Shades in SoCAL - Eight
We head back to the Ling residence sin Fling and Anna, since they first head over to Anna's place to burn a cd with all the pics. As Marge parks the car, she runs quickly into the house and turns on the porch light, upon which I see this little lizard that's like on its back with a split belly. I make a comment about there being a dead lizard and Mac and George question if Marge stepped on it. Marge sees it and starts screaming frantically for the little bugger's pain. We take a closer look at it and George taps it with his big toe and it starts to move a little bit. Marge is sitting inside the door area in the meantime, hysterical with either laughter or shock. I take a peek at the bottom of her shoe and it looks like there's a little goo on it. But that may possibly be just a coincidence.
At this current moment the door is still shut and we open the door and I make notice that the little guy has flipped right side up and is sorta walking. More screaming ensues. Now Marge is wanting to put the lizard out of its misery and announces that we should chop off its head. Uhh... so somehow a general consensus between Mac, George, and I is to stomp on it for some reason and we play some black/white to see who has to do it and George gets the short end of the stick.
Fortunately right as we opened the door, everyone else has just arrived at the household and the emphasis now is for them not to step on the lizard. The lizard gets moved to the side instead and christened the name Virgil. Anyways we now decide to head on over to Anna's place. I'm riding with Marge on the way back to Anna's house and we have a little adventure but eventually reach Anna's place. Her parents are asleep so we have to keep out voices down. Felix uses the laptop to try and extract more pictures, but for some reason neither Mac nor my card would read on his card reader. After a glass of water from Anna, some Wc3 tips to her brother from Pres, and Foobie's departure to meet up with some of his friends for the transanime festival, via Felix's recommendation, we head off to a karaoke place called Elvis?!? Karaoke.
